About Me
I am a local real estate agent living in Island Park.
Raised and educated in northern Utah, I received a bachelor's degree in biology from Utah State, and a master's degree in Instructional Design from the University of Utah. After a 20 year teaching career in Salt Lake City, I moved to West Yellowstone, MT and spent 10 years as a self employed , co-owner of a lodging and snowmobile rental business.
I first visited Island Park on a fishing trip in the 1970's, and immediately fell in love with its beauty, and small town feel. I purchased a little log cabin, started spending summers in Island Park in the 1980's, and have been doing so ever since.
Fishing has been one of my passions since I was introduced to the sport by my grandfather. Island Park, and its surrounding waters are heaven for anyone who fly fishes, and it has certainly been heaven for me. I have been lucky enough to spend 4-5 days a week fishing the Henry's Fork river for the last 20 summers.
Currently I spend six months of the year at my Island Park cabin, with my dog, Maxine, and spend the remaining six months on the lower Henry's Fork River outside of St Anthony Idaho.
